Chicago Axiom Brass performance information

Five fascinating and eclectic brass performers from Chicago, the adaptation and creation of nearly a hundred brass quintet tracks around more than 30 countries. Willing to share and dare to explore the spirit, so that they have the courage to try the music of all genres, and received great achievements.

 

Their music, from blues to modern jazz, Latin to the classical, string quartet also has a work specifically for the brass quintet works. They won the USA Yellow Springs Competition Award. In 2012, it won the first prize at the Passau International Brass Tournament in Europe as the only American ensemble. Since 2011, Axiom Brass has partnered with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra to share the stage of the U.S. State Brass Symposium. Their music is broadcast by U.S. national radio and television stations and toured in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
